【Description of terrain】
  Lyu Creek did not have an official name, but was widely called Singsheng Stream. It was officially named Jyu Creak during Japanese Occupation Period. It originates at the northeastern corner of the city, which is about 110 meters above sea level. It flows through Beituen Chiu, Martyrs Shrine, City Gymnasium, and Baseball Stadium, exits the city in Nan Chiu, and finally joins Han Stream. Lyu Creek, flowing through old business districts of the city, plays a role of decorating and beautifying this area.
