【Description】
Memorial 228 Park, also known as Dongfeng Park and Labor Park was built by Taichung City Government and opened in 1984. The land area of this park is about 1.3 hectors with some 30 kinds of palm trees. In the park, there is a monument built in memory of the 228 event. The plaza located at the front is suitable folk sports; up the stairs is another monument where many social gatherings take place. In addition, there are four planned bike paths in the city, one of which is 21 kilometers long and originates and ends at this park.
