【Description】
According to information from Taiching Freight
Service Center, Stock 20 was built in the 1930s.
It was one of the seven stocks in the backyard of
Taichung Railway Station and then was underused.
Later, in order to revitalize these old stocks,
the former Taiwan Provincial Government, Bureau of
Cultural Affairs initiated a plan to transform
these seven old stocks into arts hall and named it
as Stock 20. Some 5,200 square meters of the
internal space is designated for reception,
exhibition, rest areas and offices. Regular shows
are held. A cafeteria is located right across
from the railway platform, which constitutes an
interesting visual interaction between passengers
and tourists. |

【Public transportation】
From Taichung Railway Station: Stock 20 is located in
the backyard of the railway station. Use the
underground path to walk to the back of the station.
【Driving from Highway 1 】
Take the Jhong-Gang Exit and turn onto Jhong-Gang Rd.
toward downtown or Taichung Railway Station. Continue
onto Jhongcheng Rd. Turn right onto Mingcyuan Rd. Then
turn left onto Jianguo Rd. |
